THG and Maximo Group Join Forces for a Decade-Long Beauty Partnership

Today, THG, a leading technology platform provider, announced a new 10-year partnership with Maximo Group, an online beauty retailer. The agreement will focus on re-platforming allbeauty.com and fragrancedirect.co.uk to the Ingenuity platform, with THG Ingenuity becoming Maximo’s key UK operational partner.


The partnership is expected to add in excess of £150 million GMV to the Ingenuity platform annually, and will encompass website services including design, build, hosting and maintenance; warehousing and fulfilment services; and end customer delivery services via THG’s network of global couriers.


THG Chief Executive, Matthew Moulding, said: “We are proud to announce our partnership with Maximo. This represents the early fruits of our focus on larger enterprise customers and underlines our position as the online partner of choice for the prestige beauty industry.”

THG Ingenuity CEO, Vivek Ganotra, added: “We are delighted to develop further our reputation as the go to e-commerce partner for digital transformation in the beauty and wellness categories. Expansion into new international markets is a strategic priority for Maximo Group, with our global distribution network and cross-border expertise enabling its brands to capitalise on the growing digital channel shift across many beauty categories.”


The agreement is set to begin in Q2 2023, and will provide Maximo with a comprehensive end-to-end technology and fulfilment services solution. This will enable the company to capitalise on the growing digital channel shift across many beauty categories, and expand into new international markets.


The partnership is the latest in a series of strategic moves by THG, which has recently announced a number of new partnerships and acquisitions. This includes the acquisition of US-based beauty e-commerce platform, Cos Bar, and the launch of a new beauty and wellness division.
