Blackmoor, a Liverpool-based cookware brand, is launching the first year of its national competition to find Britain’s best home cook. The competition is open to all foodie Instagrammers, TikTokers and tastemakers across the country, and the winner will be appointed as the brand’s media mogul, national food influencer. The prize fund for the competition is over £1,000.
Blackmoor, a Liverpool-based cookware brand, is launching the first year of its national competition to find Britain’s best home cook. The competition is open to all foodie Instagrammers, TikTokers and tastemakers across the country, and the winner will be appointed as the brand’s media mogul, national food influencer. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over. To enter, participants must post a picture of their best home cooked meal on Instagram or TikTok, and tag Blackmoor in the post. Entries must be posted before midnight on the 31st of August.
The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges, including Blackmoor’s founder and CEO, and a professional chef. The judges will be looking for the most creative and delicious dishes, as well as the best presentation. The winner will be announced on the 15th of September.
The winner will receive a prize fund of over £1,000, which includes a year’s supply of Blackmoor cookware, a professional cooking lesson with a top chef, and a feature in a national magazine. The winner will also be appointed as Blackmoor’s media mogul and national food influencer, and will be given the opportunity to work with the brand on future campaigns.
“We are really excited about launching this new national competition,” said Simon Parker, Blackmoor’s cookware expert and head judge.
“We know the power of social media and so many of us now head there first for cookery inspiration, whether that’s Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or TikTok! We are looking for someone who is not only sharing their great-tasting recipes and dishes but showcasing them in the very best way through their expert broadcasting skills."
The competition launches on Monday 20th March and runs until Friday 21st April 2023 and is open to all eleven of the following British regions, Cymru Wales, East Midlands, East of England, London, North East & Cumbria, North West, Scotland, Southeast, South West, West Midlands, Yorkshire & the Humber.
